In the adhesive fixing method, firstly a two-part epoxy adhesive is applied to the substrate tactile holes. This is followed by inserting the tactile. The adhesive needs to be fully cured before they can be walked on.
The tactile indicators come with a plug moulded to the stem when fixes the tactiles to the substrate without any adhesive. The mechanical method for installation of tactiles, is a fast and effective installation technique.
Brass Tactile Indicators
- PER 240 UNIT BOX
Designed and manufactured in compliance with AS 1428.4.1:2009, the Tactile Solution’s Brass Tactile Indicators are an architectural grade brass tactiles that feature brilliant aesthetics along with durability. This appealing finish makes it the first choice for hotels, cafes, pubs, etc.
The solid brass tactiles are durable, highly resistant against corrosion and tarnishing. With an embedded concentric circle design on its anti-slip tactile face which smooths out into an beveled outer edge, these brass tactiles are highly functional with an appealing finish.
The single, solid brass casting gives it superior durability and resistance to shaft dislocation. Making them superior to less sturdy two-piece brass tactiles that have been welded at the base and shaft which are more likely to dislodge or break at the shaft.
